I got selected to participate in the interview on the 6th.
Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to go. 1) I am taking part of my cpa exam, which unfortunately can't be rescheduled this close to the date. 2) It would cost about $800 to fly out there and stay for one night.
When I sent in my submission, I really hoped that we'd get a bit more notice, so that it could be worked out. I am really disappointed with myself that I seem unable to make this work out.
On the brightside, I was thrilled to be selected! I only wish I could actually be there.

So this morning I got up and prepared to do some final studying for the part of the cpa exam I am taking on wed. So I turn on my computer and it was running so slow, it was a pain to try to use the test prep software. Then I saw that my computer had downloaded a microsoft update, so I decided to install it because I"ve noticed if I just let it sit there it really slows things down until it is installed. Well that was at 9 AM this morning and it is now 2:30 and I'm on my parent's computer. lol Hopefully everything works when it finishes lol. : )
UPDATE: It appears everything is in working order lol.

So I am officially moved! Yesterday my folks and I loaded up the rental truck and drove it back to GA; then this morning, we had movers to help unload it. We could have gotten everything but my couch which would have been awkward on our narrow staircase here. But when I woke up thoroughly sore this morning, I was definitely glad that we'd called ahead for the movers to help today. Plus they finished in about half the time it took us. Yay for professionals.
Although it was one of the guy's very first day on the job. It was funny to watch how eager and excited he was about working as a mover. He was like a little kid "it's my first day" insert almost jumpy excitement here. Mom was a bit worried at first, but he did fine with a little coaching from the experienced guy.
So I guess I have the rest of the afternoon to unpack everything. lol : )

Well I am almost done with school! I move in three days! The inevitable blog of celebration complete with pics of CA cheering will follow, but I guess I'll wait until graduation to do that one. lol

This session of summer school is going by quickly. I'm preparing to move back "home" and getting ready to go to work. It's kind of exciting and scary at the same time.
